Children born to foreigners in India (where either or both parents are foreigner), the foreigners concerned shall intimate electronically (via email), the birth of the child to the Jurisdictional Registration Officer/ FRRO within thirty days of the birth for availing visa services including grant of new visa and exit permission.
Foreign Nationals, except OCI card holders, are not permitted to commission surrogacy in India.
Every hospital, nursing home or any other medical institution shall furnish information in respect of any children born to foreigners (either or both the parents are foreigner) in their place within seven days of the occurrence of the birth, electronically (via email) to the Jurisdictional Registration Officer/ FRRO.
